What Made to Order Means at ZAKAVA
Most skincare is made long before anyone buys it. It's produced in large runs, stored in warehouses, shipped to distributors and stores, then waits on a shelf until someone picks it up. By the time it reaches your bathroom, it may have been sitting for months.
ZAKAVA works differently.
How it works
- You order. Your order comes in at zakavaskin.com. Nothing has been made for it yet.
- We make it. Your products are prepared in small batches, to European cosmetic standards.
- It ships to you. Orders ship within 4 business days, with free US shipping on orders over $75.
Why it matters
Less time sitting around. The open-jar symbol on a label starts counting the day you open a product, but a product's life starts the day it's made. Making yours after you order keeps that gap as short as we can make it.
Made for the person who ordered it. We don't produce thousands of units ahead of time and store them. Each order is made for the person who placed it.
Small batches. Working in small batches means your products don't come from a giant run that was made long ago.
The trade-off
Made to order takes a little longer than grabbing something off a shelf. We think a few extra days is worth it for skincare that hasn't been waiting in a warehouse. If you're ordering a gift, plan ahead.
